The Optometric Physicians of Washington serves as the voice and face of optometry at a state level and as an affiliate of the American Optometric Association (AOA) on a national level. The OPW and the AOA represents more than 40,000 doctors of optometry, optometry students and paraoptometric assistants and technicians in more than 6,600 communities across the country and in foreign countries.
OPW and AOA provide a wealth of resources for successfully managing all modes of practices, as well as fostering life-long learning through continuing education.
OPW and AOA or the only organizations that legally and legislatively protect your profession from the offensives of organized medicine, the regulatory mazes of government bureaucracies and third-party payers, and increasingly, health care reform.
