“Receiving this award in memory of Dr. Cameron is a great honor.  I look forward to continuing the legacy of involvement and leadership that Dr. Cameron exemplified,” said Dr. Key.

Dr. Key currently practices at the Family Eye Clinics in Ellensburg and Cle Elum.  She performed her undergraduate studies at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Wash., before continuing on to the University of California at Berkley where she obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree.  She also completed a residency in primary eye care at the Veterans Hospital in Fresno, California.

Dr. Key has been an active member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington since 2004.  In this time she has immersed herself in the organization by attending the 2005 and 2006 Olympia sessions as well as meeting with state legislators to explain issues related to optometry.

The mission of the Optometric Physicians of Washington is to advance, improve and enhance the vision care and eye health of the public and to promote the continued development of the profession of optometry.
