Michael Noble, O.D. of Yakima Named Vice President of the Optometric Physicians of Washington

Michael Noble, O.D. of Yakima, Wash. was recently named Vice President of the Optometric Physicians of Washington (OPW) at the OPW annual convention in Spokane May 10-13, 2006. As Vice President, Dr. Noble will provide the OPW Board of Trustees, membership committees, staff, and general membership with valuable experience and leadership.
The Optometric Physicians of Washington (OPW) is the professional association of Washington State optometric physicians affiliated with the American Optometric Association. The OPW is comprised of 13 optometric societies throughout the state numbering 560 optometric physicians.
Dr. Noble currently practices with Cascade Eye Center - Yakima Vision Source. He majored in Chemistry and Biology at Seattle Pacific University and in 1983 graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Noble has been an active member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington since his days as a student, serving in a variety of roles and committees. Dr. Noble has served two terms as president of the Yakima Valley Optometric Society, been a legislative keyperson, and treasurer for 23 years. He was elected to serve on the OPW Board of Trustees from 1995 to 1998, overseeing the Legal Division, and has been a member of OPW’s Budget Committee for many years.
The mission of the Optometric Physicians of Washington is to advance, improve and enhance the vision care and eye health of the public and to promote the continued development of the profession of optometry.
